The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with MANCHU GROUP is embarking on a 3-month Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) Skills and Enterprise Development Programme. Qualifying SMME’s and Unemployed Youth are hereby invited to apply to participate in this Skills and ESD programme that will commence in March 2019. Please note these programmes are restricted to the following sectors:
ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and Agriculture 

Requirements for Unemployed Youth: 

  1. South African Citizen (we require a copy of ID)
  2. Resident within KwaZulu-Natal (we require proof of address – utility bill, bank statement, etc.)
  3. Under 35 years of age (copy of ID will serve as confirmation)
  4. Completed Matric (copy of matric certificate).
  5. Basic Tertiary Qualification in a business related field – 2 years minimum (copy of relevant certificate).
  6. Be currently unemployed
  7. Brief one page CV of the candidate including a photograph
  8. Able to commute to training venues and temporary workplaces (Basic Stipend of R1 800 per month for three months to cover transport and related costs will be covered by the MICT SETA grant)

  6. Able to commute to training venues and prospective customer sites (Basic Stipend of R1 800 per month for three months to cover transport and related costs will be covered by the MICTSETA grant)
