On the 1st of October 2018 the Durban ICC held the first session of the KZN Export week which is an annual programme of trade and Investments in KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN) The export week’s main purpose is to highlight the importance of exporting in the KwaZulu-Natal economy and it aims to celebrate all the succeeding export business in KZN.
TIKZN is there to develop, recognise, promote and assist with growing KwaZulu-Natal’s export business and industries. Throughout the coming week the event will have comprehensive programme of activities and where professionals will share their thought and ideas on development and information on the growth of sectors ad market opportunities to KwaZulu-Natal’s new exporters and international businesses.
The Emerging Exporter seminar was composed of speakers which held the discussions on Export Finance, market development and sales techniques speakers such as Mr Alexander Robertson’s of Robertson’s Cargo Consultancy (Pty) Ltd, Mr Ricky Pillay of ABC Kings’s Awelani Mkhize Senior Representative, Department of Environmental Affairs who shared her knowledge and work with Wildlife trade.
Also speaking at the event was Mr Krish Moharaj of Growth Path International, Mr Moharaj cited that nothing makes him happy like helping someone reach their dreams because it is important to follow your passion.
“My purpose in life is to unleash people’s potential and that also means unleashing the potential of many businesses as well.”
Export week will be filled with information and networking session for emerging exporters, existing exporters and seasoned exporters. It will allow many businesses to grown and understand the different and safe ways of trading.
