Zamani ‘Usbali’ Mthembu (25), a muso from Macambini, a rural area on the outskirts of Mandeni, north coast of Durban launched his second studio album titled ‘Inja Nogodo’ on 12 August 2017.
The Maskandi singer-song writer took his work home in an attempt to uplift young people in the music industry and also help to curb the scourge of alcohol and drug abuse as well as women and children abuse.
”The main aim for coming here was to also identify young people that I can work with on my other music projects in the near future” said Mthembu, before alluding to the fact that it was also important to come and showcase his talent to people who helped to raise him.
“We are here to also tackle the issue of drug abuse, because it is a serious problem to our society” further commented Usbali.
The Mandeni born and bred muso dazzled the audience with his hit songs during the launch which included iNika Nika, Idlozi and AmaHhololo to mention a few.
